Grant agreement signature: Arcadia eFuels’ ENDOR project awarded EU Innovation Fund support
Arcadia eFuels has signed a grant agreement with the European Commission under the EU Innovation Fund for its ENDOR project, following selection through a rigorous and highly competitive evaluation process.
The EU Innovation Fund supports projects that demonstrate a strong potential to reduce greenhouse gas emissions across Europe. ENDOR was assessed against a broad portfolio of initiatives and selected based on its technical and financial maturity, the degree of innovation, the implementation approach, and expected contribution to decarbonisation in a hard-to-abate sector.
The ENDOR project is designed to produce synthetic fuels by combining renewable electricity and sustainable CO₂, with eSAF as the primary product. The project has been developed with a focus on industrial scalability and integration across the full value chain, including power supply, hydrogen production, carbon sourcing, and fuel synthesis.
The grant provides capital and operating cost support for the project and is intended to strengthen the financial framework upon final investment decision.
“We are proud and humbled to have been selected under the EU Innovation Fund” said Martin Nielsen, Country Manager at Arcadia eFuels. “The selection process is rigorous and requires a high degree of detail across technical, financial, and operational aspects. This recognition reflects the work carried out together with our partners and the robustness of the ENDOR project.”
The development of ENDOR has been based on close collaboration with industrial partners across the value chain, supporting a technically sound and economically structured project. This integrated approach has been central to meeting the requirements of the Innovation Fund and positioning the project for execution.
Arcadia eFuels also highlights the constructive dialogue with the European Commission and CINEA throughout the process, which has supported alignment on project scope, milestones, and the overall implementation framework.
With the grant agreement now in place, Arcadia eFuels will continue advancing the ENDOR project towards final investment decision in cooperation with partners and financial stakeholders, contributing to the development of scalable eFuel production in Europe.
