Amy Hebert
Amy Hebert brings more than 30 years of global industry experience and 15 years of executive leadership positions in the refining, chemical and polymer markets. She has experience in all aspects of business management including developing and executing long term business strategy while managing overall financial wellbeing; experience with JV’s, new plant construction, and plant expansions from idea, through design and startup. Most recently she held the position as Deputy CEO/Chief Commercial Officer for Haldor Topsoe, and previously Vice President Europe with Celanese and Global Vice President Catalysts with Albemarle.
She holds a B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology. Amy is also a supervisory board member, nomination and audit committee member of IMCD.
Janita Naidoo
Janita brings more than 27 years of global experience sustainable aviation fuels. In her last role as Acting Senior Vice President for Sasol ecoFT, she built a strong network across the SAF value chain. Focusing on economically viable, low-carbon SAF solutions, she has leveraged her expertise in technology, business development, and project execution. Her experience spans the entire project lifecycle, from securing financing and navigating complex contracts to leading project execution as well as operationalising projects with systems, processes and governance to deliver business profitability.
As head of the FT catalyst business she drove the innovation of new generations of catalyst to ensure optimal integration with the gas to liquids process to support project bankability. Highly adaptable and customer-focused, in recent years she has developed a go-to-market strategy and value-based pricing model for SAF. She thrives on building strong relationships with partners and mentoring others to achieve their full potential. She holds a B.Sc in Chemical Engineering from the University of Kwazulu-Natal in South Africa.
Bas Kikkert
Bas Kikkert brings over 28 years of global experience in energy, decarbonization and gas to liquids, including more than 16 years in GM & VP-level leadership positions at Shell. His career spans roles in strategy, operations, technology, and organizational development across the Netherlands, South Africa, and Qatar. Bas brings a track record in Technology RD&D and opportunity realization. He led the ramp-up of the Pearl Gas-to-Liquids plant in Qatar, and contributed to various strategic high-impact initiatives such as Shell’s first decarbonization strategy, and the CEO sponsored development of Shell’s Performance Framework. Bas has led global virtual teams across a wide range of cultures and managed organizations of 500+ people.
Bas holds an MSc in Mechanical Engineering from Eindhoven University of Technology (with honours), completed executive education at INSEAD, and takes part in MITs Sustainability Program. He served on the advisory board of Peru LNG JV, and has represented Shell in numerous external partner & public engagements related to the Energy Transition, reflecting his commitment to sustainable innovation and collaborative leadership in the energy sector.

Floriana De Matteo
Floriana is a distinguished energy professional with two decades of experience in international commodity markets and renewable fuels. In her most recent role at St1, she led the aviation business, spearheaded the Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) customer portfolio, and defined the entry strategy across Nordic airports. She also traded oil and renewable products while optimizing bio-mandates, blending walls, and contango storage.
She spent the first 10 years of her career at ENI, trading oil products, including jet fuel, and derivatives across Europe and Asia. She was instrumental in building both medium- and long-term global arbitrage strategies. Holding a master's degree in Economics from Bocconi University, she brings a blend of commercial acumen, economic strategy, and a deep passion for decarbonizing the aviation sector.
Prasanna Kannan
Prasanna Kannan is a seasoned commercial leader with over 15 years of experience spanning finance, technology and sustainability. Most recently, he served as Commercial Director at Zero Petroleum, a pioneering synthetic fuel company, where he led their capital raising activity and secured commercial partnerships with major global brands such as ADNOC, Rolls Royce and Toshiba. He is the former Chief Commercial Officer and co-founder of Native Finance, an award-winning VC-backed fintech platform acquired in 2023.
Prasanna began his career on the trading floor at Goldman Sachs before moving into global health and impact investing at the Elton John AIDS Foundation, where he launched the world’s first HIV focused Social Impact Bond. He holds Master’s degrees in both Engineering from Oxford and Management from Cambridge, and is a Churchill Fellow and Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts. In addition to his professional achievements, Prasanna is a mentor with several social mobility and entrepreneurship initiatives and has a passion for travel, creative writing, and the arts.

Martin brings a diverse, international set of experiences related to engineering and commercial activities for the last 30 years – Europe, Middle East, Asia. An in-depth strategic and tactical business profile. Driven by making business impact through engagement and new ways of executing. A commercial mindset and the ability to see the big picture and connect the dots leads me to quickly identify opportunities and execute with – and through – my team.
More than 30 years from a large and global company enables me to deliver across the full value chain. Martin leads with a focus on solving the whole of a projects challenge. His leadership style is based on trust and a lot of direct communication.

Omar Sharief
Omar Sharief brings 20 years of energy industry experience. This includes 19 years at Shell where he worked in Low Carbon Fuels, Wind Energy, Trading & Supply, and Chemicals & Refining. Omar previously held senior commercial and business development leadership roles within Shell’s Low Carbon Fuels organization, including first-of-a-kind biomass-to-liquids SAF project exceeding $1 billion in scale. His experience spans project commercialization, joint venture structuring, regulatory engagement, stakeholder management, and execution planning across renewable fuels, energy infrastructure, and international project development initiatives.
Omar holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and an MBA from Rice University.
Pieter Steyn
Pieter Steyn is Arcadia eFuels’ Project Legal Counsel, bringing more than 28 years of experience in the oil, gas, petrochemical, and energy sectors. Since joining Arcadia in 2024, he has led legal and contractual activities across the company’s project portfolio. Prior to Arcadia, Pieter served as General Counsel for OQ Refining and Petrochemical Industries (OQ RPI) in Oman, where he led the downstream and commercial legal team and supported the successful close-out and financing of multiple large-scale downstream projects. Before OQ, he spent nearly 20 years with Sasol, providing legal, commercial, and project finance leadership for major international coal-to-liquids and gas-to-liquids ventures.
Known for his pragmatic, commercially focused approach, Pieter has played a key role in the development, financing, and execution of complex energy projects across the United States, China, India, Mozambique, Namibia, Qatar, Uzbekistan, Nigeria, Oman, and Denmark. He has also served on the Board of Directors of OQ Base Industries SAOG, a company listed on the Oman Stock Exchange. Pieter holds a Diploma and Bachelor’s degree in Law, a Master’s Degree in Business Leadership from the University of South Africa, and is an admitted Attorney of the High Court of South Africa.

Armon Bar-Tur
Armon is based in Switzerland and is a Founder and Executive Chairman of BaseCamp Real Estate Partners Ltd. He has been involved in the acquisition and development of institutional quality real estate since 2006, including light industrial park strategies through Chancery Gate Asset Management and the conversion of a major New York hotel to coop apartments. As Founder and CEO of BaseCamp, he has overseen the construction of a student housing development portfolio of approximately €2bn of GDV.
Armon was responsible for identifying the deep undersupply of student accommodation in Poland, Germany and the Nordics and developing BaseCamp’s business model. He identified that the opportunity would be best served by a vertically integrated developer, owner and operator of modern, design led, community focused student accommodation which today operates PBSA under the BaseCamp brand, managed by in house teams.
William Allen
Billy is the Senior Vice President, Chief Accounting Officer for Jacobs Engineering. He has over 30 years of broad financial experience on an international level, including corporate and regional financial functions, including mergers and acquisitions, SEC, USGAAP and international statutory reporting, internal controls/SOX compliance, and FP&A and business financial leadership roles.
Billy was previously Vice President of Finance and Principal Accounting Officer of LyondellBasell Industries and was responsible for the organization’s global accounting and reporting functions. Prior to that he was VP, Corporate Controller and CAO with Albemarle Corporation where he served for almost 19 years in a variety of finance positions including Finance Director of the Company’s European operations based in Brussels, Belgium and Business CFO for the Company’s Catalysts and Fine Chemistry Solutions segments.
Charles Vallée
Charles Vallée has 10 years+ experience in business development and financing of renewables energy infrastructures internationally. Former business developer and Head of India for at EDF Renewables, one of the world’s largest IPP, Charles managed the company’s JVs in wind and solar in India as well as contributed to the acquisition of a large wind developer in China. When joining Total Eren in 2018, he was responsible for developing the company’s business in Eastern Europe and notably in Ukraine, where the company invested in and built the largest wind project at that time.
In Swen Capital Partners where he works as Principal since 2022, he is in charge of investing in the different activities of the funds Swift : biomethane, green hydrogen and efuels. Charles holds a MBA degree in Essec Business School
